Mahalo to everyone who has contributed to this scholarship. As a first-generation, low-income, and formerly houseless student, this award helps tremendously and allows me to pursue an education that the rest of my family has only dreamed of. I hope to start working on a 501c(3) nonprofit program that serves as a dropout prevention program for homeless and displaced youth and to begin working with other educational agencies such as the Department of Education and other community organizations. We will forever be indebted to kind donors such as you who have made this all possible. Mahalo nunui!
