Mahalo nui loa for your great generosity. This means the world to me and my ʻohana because it is one of the few scholarships that we received so we couldn’t be happier. It will assist in creating representation for the Hawaiian community and allow me to share my ideas on a larger scale. I plan to learn and develop my skills so that I can enter in the animation industry and produce work that allows me to showcase my imagination. Along with that, I hope to use animation to shed light on Hawaiian issues and show more representation for Hawaiians in media. Mahalo again for this gift.
