Mahalo donors of the David and Julia Desha Scholarship. I am so thankful, as this will help me achieve the future I want. I was blessed to receive a merit scholarship from my school of choice and this money will go towards my room and board. This means a lot to my ʻohana, as it takes the load off of them and will help me to become the businesswoman I’ve always wanted to be and it’ll ensure that I’ll be able to give back to my lāhui one day. I hope to grow in my first semester in college and end this year on a high note. I plan to go to Santa Clara to obtain a Bachelors degree in Accounting. Through my four years there, I look forward to expanding on my knowledge and exploring my new home. My goal is to become a C.P.A. or a Financial Advisor. Me ka mahalo nui!
