Aloha and mahalo nui to the donors of the Mary Atherton Richards Scholarship, no ka lokomaikaʻi. Everything I have received is truly a big, much needed, kōkua to my family and me. The aid from this scholarship is my financial assistance guiding me through my first year of college. I hope to make the most out of every penny I put towards my education and I hope to one day look back at this gift as a factor in my success; to somehow be able to give back to the āina in conservation and the lāhui by educating the younger generations about their culture.
