Mahalo donors of the Makaloa Scholarship for providing me with additional funds to support my college career. I will be attending UH Hilo as an Exploratory Studies student and with that I can take different classes in areas that I am passionate about and will thrive in academically. I would like any profession in the medical field as there is a major lack of workers there. Whether I become a doctor, nurse, or surgeon, it will greatly benefit my community here in Hawaiʻi.
