Sai Furukawa KSM’13 graduated from the University of Hawai‘i Maui College with an associates degree in May 2015. The Phi Theta Kappa member, graduated with a 3.5 grade point average, is UH Maui Regents Liberal Arts Awardee, and two-time medical terminology champion for Health Occupations Students of America. He will continue his studies at UH Mānoa with scholarships from Liko A‘e and Ka Hikina O Ka Lā. His remaining two years of tuition is fully paid for as a Presidential Scholar. Sai is studying to become a surgeon.
