It always seems like time flies by around here at the Pauahi Foundation. I suppose that points to the numerous fun events we’ve held already this year, and the many upcoming ones to look forward to. Since July 1st, we’ve hosted 967 attendees at 22 events and we’ve got some big ones still to come.
Before I go any further, I’d like to remind you to connect with us in one of many easy ways listed below:
- Download our new Pauahi App (and enable push notifications): iPhone
- Like us on Facebook
- Follow us on Twitter
- Visit our website for the latest in events and announcements from the Foundation
- Make sure your information is updated in our database by emailing any changes to firstname.lastname@example.org
Whether you’re a part of our proud Kamehameha Schools alumni group, or a parent, grandparent, or relative of someone who attends one of our campuses, or a dedicated faculty or staff member, or a generous donor to our mission….or all of the above, any of these options will provide you with the latest in news, upcoming events and other offerings. We want people to know what we’ve got going on because the more people that know, the more people will join in, and the more Hawaiian learners we can serve.
In case you’ve been unable to join in so far this year, here are some upcoming events from the Foundation and Kamehameha Schools:
March 26th – 3rd Annual Walk for Pauahi on Hawai‘i Island:
A totally student-led event to raise awareness of Pauahi’s vision and raise money for scholarships.
March 30th – 3rd Annual Pauahi Series Golf Tournament at Nanea Golf Club on Hawai‘i Island:
In the first two years this tournament has raised over $250,000 for our Hawaiian learners and we hope to continue that trend by raising more than ever this year.
I hope to see you at one or all of these events—or at one of the other gatherings held throughout the year. They’re fun, informative and help us to answer your questions about our efforts to further Pauahi’s vision.
One last thing, for those of you who are members of a celebrating class for this year’s reunion, the Reunion Challenge is ON! We’ve got over $30,000 in class fund prizes and it’s time to take your class to the top of the leaderboard. If you haven’t heard about it yet—go to our website and check it out. You can rally your classmates for the great cause of education and help us to make positive impact for our lāhui! Good luck.
