Scholarships

2008 Scholarship Application Timeline

All documents must be postmarked by May 2, 2008 or received at the Ke Ali'i Pauahi Foundation (KAPF) office by 4 p.m. on May 2, 2008.  Applications and/or supporting documents arriving after this date and time will be “late” and will not be considered.  There are no exceptions.

January & February

• REVIEW scholarships available for eligibility crtieria and additional requirements (i.e. essays or letters of recommendations).
• REGISTER with Ho'oulu Hawaiian Data Center.
• COMPLETE your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) which is available online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Apply early, as it may take several weeks to receive your Student Aid Report (SAR).
• REQUEST official transcript of grades and letters of recommendation (as applicable).

March 1

Ke Ali'i Pauahi Foundation (KAPF) scholarship applications available online at www.Pauahi.org.
May 2

DEADLINE for completion of all KAPF scholarship applications and required support documents to be delivered or postmarked.
May 3 - June Scholarship selection committees meet to determine awardees.
July Applicants are notified of scholarship selection committee decisions.
