This scholarship was established in memory of Iwalani Carpenter Sowa's uncle Theodore Ka'ahea Kakelaka. This award recognizes students pursuing a graduate degree in the Protestant Christian ministry and who have a desire to minister in Hawai'i. Preference will be given to a Kamehameha Schools graduate and those demonstrating financial need.

Randy Wayne Ahuna Scholarship

This scholarship provides educational support for students pursuing a degree at a Community College or University in the State of Hawaii in the fields of social work, social sciences or the ministry. Minimum GPA of 3.0 and clear financial need also required. Preference may be given to non-Oahu island residing students.
