This scholarship recognizes the extraordinary contributions of Joseph Nāwahī, a respected lawyer, legislator, journalist and educator, who was chief advisor to Queen Lili'uokalani before the overthrow of the Hawaiian monarchy in 1893.
William S. Richardson Commemorative Scholarship
This scholarship was established to honor William S. Richardson, retired Trustee of the Kamehameha Schools Bishop Estate and provides support for students of character and exceptional ability pursuing law degrees from the University of Hawai'i-Mānoa William S. Richardson School of Law. Applicants must be a resident of the State of Hawai'i and preference will be given to applicants demonstrating financial need and commitment to contributing to the greater community.
