Randy Wayne Ahuna Scholarship

This scholarship provides educational support for students pursuing a degree at a Community College or University in the State of Hawaii in the fields of social work, social sciences or the ministry. Minimum GPA of 3.0 and clear financial need also required. Preference may be given to non-Oahu island residing students.

Requirements:

  1. College Acceptance Letter (if you are attending a college or university for the first time or currently enrolled college student changing schools or degree programs)
  2. Official Transcript of Grades
  3. Student Aid Report (SAR)
  4. Minimum GPA 3.0
  5. Major in social work, social sciences or ministry
  6. Not a resident of O`ahu

Additional items required:
• Two letters of recommendation; one from a teacher, one from a community or religious organization
• Essay describing our reasons for pursuing a degree in social work, social sciences or ministry vocation and how you have already applied these character traits into your own life:  faith, friendship, sense of humor, sincerity and willingness to assist others with time, talent and servant's heart.
