Native Hawaiian Visual Arts Scholarship
This scholarship encourages University of Hawai'i - Manoa undergraduate and graduate students majoring in Art to pursue the area of Visual Arts, including but not limited to, drawing, painting, printmaking, graphic design, fiber arts, sculpture, ceramics, digital art (computer), photography, and film-making / video production. Selection based on artistic merit as demonstrated by an artistic portfolio and academic achievements. A GPA of 3.2 or higher is required.
Requirements:
- College Acceptance Letter (if you are attending a college or university for the first time or currently enrolled college student changing schools or degree programs)
- Official Transcript of Grades
- Student Aid Report (SAR)
- Minimum GPA 3.2
- Attending the University of Hawai'i at Manoa
- Major in art in the areas of either visual arts - drawing, painting, printmaking, graphic design, fiber arts, sculpture, ceramics, digital art (computer), photography, and film-making/video production
Additional items required:
• Submission of a portfolio of artistic works created.
• Submit hard-copy photos of artistic works created (CDs and DVDs will not be accepted)
