Kamehameha Schools Class of 1956 Grant

This grant, established by the Kamehameha Schools Class of 1956, is to assist at least one male and one female student who demonstrate a financial need, have a GPA within the range of 2.5-3.5, and show an aptitude toward obtaining a higher education. Applicants shall demonstrate an interest in Hawaiian language, culture and history, and demonstrate a commitment to contribute to the greater community.

Requirements:

  1. College Acceptance Letter (if you are attending a college or university for the first time or currently enrolled college student changing schools or degree programs)
  2. Official Transcript of Grades
  3. Student Aid Report (SAR)
  4. Minimum GPA between 2.5 - 3.5

Additional items required:
• Two letters of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, employer or community organization;
