Joseph A. Sowa Scholarship

This scholarship will recognize students with a GPA of 3.0 in the field of communications who have the intent to use knowledge to empower young people to maximize their potential. Applicants must demonstrate financial need.

Requirements:

  1. College Acceptance Letter (if you are attending a college or university for the first time or currently enrolled college student changing schools or degree programs)
  2. Official Transcript of Grades
  3. Student Aid Report (SAR)
  4. Minimum GPA 3.0
  5. Major in field of communications
  6. Demonstrate financial need

Additional items required:
• Submit two letters of recommendation from teacher, counselor, employer or community organization
• Submit essay demonstrating how to engage young people through communication and describe your leadership potential in the community.
