I Mua Malama JROTC Ka'awaloa Takemoto Scholarship

This scholarship was established to encourage graduating Cadets from the Junior Reserve Officer Training (JROTC) programs of Farrington High School, Nānākuli High School and Wai'anae High School to attend a post high education institution and give back to their community and nation by pursuing a career in public service such as the military, law enforcement, firefighting, teaching, nursing, etc.

Requirements:

  1. College Acceptance Letter (if you are attending a college or university for the first time or currently enrolled college student changing schools or degree programs)
  2. Official Transcript of Grades
  3. Student Aid Report (SAR)
  4. Minimum GPA 2.0
  5. Graduating senior from Farrington High School, Nānākuli High School or Wai`anae High School
  6. Successfully completed a minimum one year JROTC program and held a leadership position
  7. Demonstrate high moral character and exemplify the Army Values of:  Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless service, Honor, Integrity, and Personal Courage.

Additional items required:
• Letter of recommendation from your respective schools' Senior Army Instructor (SAI)
