One of the greatest gifts we can give our keiki is a love of literature and lifelong learning. With the Pu`olo Aloha program, giving couldn’t be easier. Kamehameha Publishing and Ke Ali`i Pauahi Foundation have come together to make the joy of reading and learning a reality for students in Hawai`i’s Department of Education (DOE) schools across the State.With the purchase of a $25 Makana (gift) Card from Kamehameha Publishing, you will enable a DOE school to purchase much needed books, multi-media items, and other learning tools from the Kamehameha Publishing online store: www.kamehamehapublishing.org.
Because of the discount given to educational institutions ranging from pre-Kindergarten to grade 12, each Makana Card would be worth $62.50 in purchases. In addition, Makana Cards do not expire, enabling teachers and students the flexibility to purchase items from Kamehameha Publishing for as
long as they have a balance on the card.
Makana Card orders will be fulfilled on an ongoing basis and delivered to the community you choose in the menu listed in this brochure.
