This scholarship honors outstanding state, national and international educational achievements of Gladys Kamakakūokalani ‘Ainoa Brandt by supporting students who aspire to enter the educational profession.
“I am a wife and a mother of a 2- year-old daughter. I saw the opportunity to get my PhD as a way to extend my reach to the native Hawaiian community and therefore further my commitment.”

All scholarship recipients have demonstrated their commitment to contribute to their Native Hawaiian communities and beyond.
