Anne H. Myers Scholarship Recipient

Lori, a graduate of Moanalua High School ('86) has made a choice to return to school to further her education to advance her career in Early Childhood Education through pursuing a degree at Chaminade University. At times it can be challenging to hold down a full time job and raising two children while going back to school. It is only possible through the support of her family, especially her husband, who not only works full time but also suffers from Parkinson's disease and cares for the children on the nights that Lori has school.

I am proud of the many people who believe in me such as my family, friends, and Ke Ali`i Pauahi Foundation and its donors who give generously of their time, finances and their hearts.

Lori inspires us to never give up on our educational goals. "I am not only proud to be a recipient of the Anne Meyers Scholarship, but I am honored and blessed."
