Endowed Scholarship Fund Matching Incentive Program

Ke Ali'i Pauahi Foundation's Matching Incentive Program is a one-time incentive that helps qualified donors reach the $20,000 threshold necessary to establish an endowed scholarship fund.

This program is open to those having an affiliation with Kamehameha Schools, including alumni, staff, trustees and parents, as confirmed by the Foundation's executive director.

To qualify, the group or individual must contribute a minimum of $13,500. Generally, the Foundation will match these funds according to the following terms:

  • One time award
  • $1 for every $2 donated, subject to funding limitations
  • Up to $10,000 available per group or individual

Qualifying endowments must:

1. Give preference to students of Hawaiian ancestry to the extent permitted by law, including but not exclusively graduates of Kamehameha Schools
2. Promote Kamehameha Schools' mission, strategic plan and focus.
3. Meet Foundation approved criteria parameters.
