License Plate Program
Show your pride!
You can obtain Kamehameha Schools license plates through the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) at a cost of $30.50 for the initial year, and $25.00 for every year thereafter. In turn, the Foundation will receive $20.00 of the annual fees for every year that you maintain your KS license plates. It is very simple to obtain your Kamehameha Schools license plates:
- Go to any Satellite City hall with your original Certificate of Registration.
- Cash or check made payable to the City and County in which you reside;
- And as quickly as you can say “I MUA” you will get your new KS license plates right over the counter.
If your registration has expired or is about to expire, contact your local Motor Vehicle Registration office to determine your initial application fee. It may be less based on your renewal fees and taxes. You may transfer the plates to another car, provided you meet the requirements set by the DMV.
