Ke Ali'i Pauahi Foundation's (KAPF) primary mission is to support Kamehameha Schools' (KS) educational mission, which is accomplished by seeking and developing new resources to increase access to educational opportunities for Hawaiians.
The Matching Incentive Program (MIP) is a one-time incentive to Qualified Donors (e.g. a group of individuals having an affiliation with KS, including KS alumni, staff, trustees and parents, as confirmed by the KAPF Executive Director), to help them reach the $20,000 threshold necessary to establish a scholarship/grant endowment.
To qualify, the minimum amount a group or individual must contribute is $13,500. KAPF will match these funds according to the following terms:
- One time award.
- 1:2 ratio, subject to funding limitations.
- Up to $10,000 available per group or individual.
Qualifying endowments must 1) give preference to students of Hawaiian ancestry to the extent permitted by law, including but not exclusively graduates of KS; and 2) promote Kamehameha Schools' mission, strategic plan and focus.
Please contact KAPF at (808)534-3966 for more information about establishing a scholarship endowment or further information about the MIP. Contributions made to KAPF are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.
