GENERAL
Is the Foundation a nonprofit organization?
Yes, the Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization designated by the Internal Revenue Code.
How can I make a donation?
Donations are gladly accepted by mail, telephone, in person and online. For more information, please visit our Giving section.
Where does my donation go?
100% of all donations to the Foundation are allocated towards providing financial support in the form of post-high scholarships and grants to people of Hawaiian ancestry. Donations made to the Foundation can be allocated to the following giving areas:
- Unrestricted
- Scholarships
- Early Childhood Education
- Charter School Support
- Land Stewardship
- Advancing Hawaiian Language
If you choose to make an unrestricted donation, your gift will be put to good use by the Foundation based on areas of need.
Can I make a donation in honor or in memory of someone?
Absolutely. To make a donation in honor or in memory of a loved one, friend or colleague, please visit our Giving page.
What is the fund requirement to established an endowed fund?
In order to establish an endowed fund, you must have a total of $20,000. The Foundation provides assistance in reaching this amount through our Matching Incentive Program. For more information, please call (808) 534-3966 or email info@pauahi.org.
What is a corporate matching gift and how can I make one?
Many large corporations have matching gift programs and will match your donation to a charitable organization. It's an easy way to double or even triple your personal contributions to Ke Ali‘i Pauahi Foundation. Can I raise money for the Foundation?

How many Foundation scholarships are available this year?
