Please join our Kamehameha ‘ohana for a weekend of fellowship as we honor our Founder, Ke Ali‘i Bernice Pauahi Bishop.
When: Friday, January 26, 6 – 9 pm

Manu Boyd KSK’80, an accomplished kumu hula, composer, musician and scholar, will be leading us in mele. Everybody bring your guitar, ukulele, and voices. Manu will have a few mele of his choice that he will hand out words to, as well as go over the history and story behind the mele.
When: Saturday, January 27, 9 am – 6 pm
Where: Pacific Lutheran University (Main UC Building in the CK Room)
Cost: $30 per person
Kumu Many Boyd will host a hula workshop. Coffee shop will be open to purchase food and beverages. Parking is across the street from building. Check-in starts at 8 am.
Founder’s Day Ceremony
When: Sunday, January 28, 11 am – 1 pm
Where: Seattle University, Lemieux Library (Boeing Room)
Free Parking at the Broadway st. Garage
Pot luck: Association to supply shoyu chicken and water.
Special guest from KS: Darryl Hoke
Program will include Manu Boyd and the mele we have practiced on Friday.
